The article deals with analysis of educational curriculars of Environmental Engineering programs at the Ukrainian and some European universities. The conclusion about the necessity of chemical training improvement of future environmentalists in Ukraine has been done. The special attention has been paid to a chemical component of Environmental Engineering programs at the European universities. The most important chemical disciplines which were studied by students-environmentalists have been investigated. The main ways of chemical training improvement of future environmental engineers preparation at the Ukrainian technical universities were offered.
